Disable Ethernet ports

On the Centro Business Router, it is possible to disable unused Ethernet LAN ports. Switching off these unused ports increases network security and protection.


Disable LAN ports​

  • On the router portal, under the tab Network âžœ Basic settings
  • Disable the desired LAN port via the dropdown button

Limitations​

  • Not available with BNS/EC-S contract

How can it be recognized that the Ethernet port is not activated?
  • The status LED on the port itself does not flash despite an active device being connected.
