This function is no longer supported by Swisscom and has been removed from the Centro Business 3.0!

Reasoning:

  • The access management options are no longer up to date.
  • Connecting the drive is complex and no longer reliable enough.
  • Microsoft no longer supports the protocols used for security reasons!

The changes on the Centro Business 3.0 were communicated via Firmware Release Note "B41" (10.04.10).
The removal of the function on the Centro Business 2.0 will take place later this year.

Why is the function still visible in the Centro Business 2.0 if it should no longer be used?

We apologise for the inconvenience: Removing a function always involves complex dependencies, and especially when some end customers are still using it, communication is difficult since we as the router operator do not know the technical contact person on the customer side.
